The goal of the McNeely Foundation is to create an environment where children can successfully transition into adulthood and families can prosper.
The McNeely Foundation makes grants in the areas of Neighborhood Development, Education, and the Environment. The Neighborhood Development initiative focuses on that benefit populations in East Side St. Paul neighborhoods. The Education initiative focuses on programs for middle-school students in East Side St. Paul schools. The Environment initiative focuses on education, preservation and conservation, advocacy and sustainable communities, with an emphasis on promoting access to open spaces for East Side St. Paul residents and workers.

The Foundation has a special interest in funding projects that benefit the Saint Paul community, especially East Side neighborhoods.
Environment applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST) on March 6, 2015. Subsequently Environment applications must be submitted by March 1, annually to be reviewed in June of each year.
Family and Neighborhood Stability applications must be submitted by June 1, annually, to be reviewed in September of each year.
Education and Enrichment applications must be submitted by December 1, annually, to be reviewed by March of each year.
