    Summary

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), Office of Population Affairs (OPA) announces the anticipated availability of funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 under the authority of Section 241 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. § 238j) and Division H, Title II of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (Public Law No. 117-103).

OASH's primary focus is leading America to healthier lives, especially for those who are most vulnerable. In support of this vision, OPA promotes health across the reproductive lifespan through innovative, evidence-based adolescent health and family planning programs, services, strategic partnerships, evaluation, and research. Research supporting the TPP Program is designed to give youth the information and skills to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and teen pregnancy across the United States, especially for the most vulnerable, including those who have suffered historic disparities.

The purpose of this initiative is to fund projects that will evaluate and explore new questions in teen pregnancy prevention that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of teen pregnancy prevention programs for adolescents or young adults and/or reduce existing disparities.
